Ben grew up in a family akin to the Von Trapps, wherein it was not uncommon to slip onto the same harmony line as a sibling whilst singing grace. He studied English at Michigan State and Wheaton College, during which he embraced the college a capella thing with the Spartan Dischords and the Gentlemen Callers, respectively. He embarked on his first "real" job aboard a luxury cruise ship with three collegiate pals and cruised to Hawaii, etc. After middling in the real world for a few years, he crooned for a bit as the Romantic Balladeer of The Glenn Miller Orchestra. It is rumored that his rendition of "Chattanooga Choo Choo" provokes a near-immediate bout of cardiac arrest upon even the most virile elderhuman. When not on parole, Ben spends his time recording music, watching the West Wing, inserting Oxford commas, and playing Wii, semi-professionally.
