On April 17, 1981 Joshua Ruzansky is born at Lankenau Hospital following normal gestation. He later attends a Quaker school, Friends’ Central. It is here that Josh first catches a particularly stubborn strain of the A Cappella bug, which has been ravaging college campus’ lately. In the summer following his High School graduation, Josh spends time in the mountains of Wyoming. It is popularly thought at the time that the thin air of high altitudes will cure him of this mysterious illness. Soon after arriving at Hamilton College, however, Josh joins the Hamilton College Buffers and further treatment is suspended. After the completion of his collegiate education in Music, he moves to New York and joins Ten and Change.
The likelyhood of a full recovery is considered highly unlikely and the patient is considered hopeless.
