Tyler Hirschey was precetor of the choir and chamber choir at Ken School in CT, as well as leader of their boys' a cappella group, the Kentones. At Hamilton College, he was a member of the choir, the chamber choir, and the co-ed a cappella Hamiltones. Fed up by two years of sexual tension and musical ineptitude, Tyler left the Hamiltones and joined the all-male Buffers, which he co-music directed with Ben Townson. Tyler sang Tenor in Hamilton's nationally-ranked barbershop quartet, the Richtones, and he currently sings with the University Glee Club of NYC, where he serves on the music committee, and with The Ten, their a cappella subgroup.
